Hiiiyyyaaa!!!

Don on your aprons and make this delicious pork and sweet chilli pasta. Oh my goodness I cannot get over my excitement about this recipe it was so beautiful. It was made even more beautiful because it had cream in it. Yum! I needed another bowlful.

I made this dish with Mr Shelley. Always nice when someone else helps you. Alright, I'll tell the truth, I bossed him into it cos I did not feel like doing it on my own tonight. He did have a complaint as to why I was adding lentils. I told him we need to start being healthy and his tum is growing, as is mine. Not only that, lentils are a great way to bulk up a meal. He definitely gave me the side eye. He was not convinced. We still put them in. We don't listen to Mr Shelley. I gave Mr Shelley the job of putting the garlic powder in but as per usual he put in way too much and I had to be firm and say I want no kisses today. I also played a trick on him. I knew that the sweet chilli sauce was new and that when he squeezed the bottle, nothing would come out and I didn't tell him. He got very annoyed because he could not work out what was going on and thought I had bought a duff. I just love to play tricks on him.

Mr Shelley disappears when things are simmering and I am the one that is left hanging around overseeing it is not getting burnt. When it is ready for the next steps, he is never to be seen. I have to go looking for him and bring him back to his original job.

We definitely had a great time together and it was great fun. It is a great activity cooking together with your partner. Try it.

I hope you enjoy it.

Love from Mrs Shelley
