Hhhiiiyyyaaa!!!
Lamb pizza for dinner. This lamb pizza is a huge family fave in our house, especially with the pumpkin dip base. You can buy any dip that has pumpkin in it or you could even boil or roast your own pumpkin but I am too lazy for that! You can also swap out and put your original tomato paste base on if you are a not a fan of pumpkin as it is your pizza and your tastes.
My current favourite cooking oil at the moment is Fancy Farmer Macadamia oil. It is so healthy. My recent blood results have come back perfect for my cholesterol so I must be doing something right with the amount of oil I use in a week in my cooking.
Always have fun when cooking your meal. You can dance, kick that leg back, curtsy, hold your food up to your ears and pretend they are a pair of earrings or do whatever you want. It brings cheer to your kitchen. I love nothing better than kicking my leg back at the stove. It brings a smile to my face.
If I am having meat on my pizza, then lamb is my fave. The lamby taste is beautiful and sets it apart from other meats. In fact lamb is my overall fave meat ever in the whole wide world. Ooooh you could even change it up an have a lamb and mint pizza. Oh will you stop it right now!
If you are buying supermarket meat then do not forget to take the backing off the minced lamb as I have forgotten on many occasions before and started cooking without realising. I love using my mince masher to de-clump my mince meat but honestly, you can use a wooden spoon. It is just my preference to use the mince masher.
I still am in my era of using garlic granules in a jar. I find it cheaper and so much easier to use than wasting time peeling the skin of the garlic and crushing it. The garlic granules go so much further and do not go out of date for ages. Honestly, the older I get, the lazier I am becoming. It is the same with pizza bases. Am I making a pizza dough and base from scratch? Oh will you stop it, I am not. I do not have time for any of that business!
I honestly cannot be bothered grating cheese but if I buy store pre-made grated cheese, I find it powdery and it does not taste as good. I look at this way, it's building up my flabby arm muscles. Put as much cheese as you want on your pizza. You do not have to go by how many grams I have suggested. It's your pizza!
For me the addition of adding a handful of feta cheese and honey just brought my pizza to life! The taste was gorgeous! I am of course in my honey phase at the moment and I use a Jarrah Platinum Honey TA 50+ which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. So healthy. A spoonful of days works wonders! I get this from Forest Fresh Honey in Western Australia and if you use code SHELLEY you can get a discount at the checkout.
Hope you enjoy this pizza.
