Beef and Guinness Pie at Durty Nelly's

Mr Shelley enjoyed a beef and Guinness Pie at Durty Nelly's. Mr Shelley and I recently visited Durty Nelly's Irish bar situated in Shafto Lane, Perth. This bar is just a short walk from Perth's Train Station and is one of our favourite eating places. This venue maintains it offers Ireland's finest Guinness and Food in this State and it did not disappoint. Mr Shelley loves a nice cool pint of Guinness and states after the first frothy mouthful "Eee what a good pint this is"! I'm glad you enjoyed it Mr Shelley. You deserve it after all your hard work.

When you walk in this venue, you feel completely welcome. We love the vibe. The space is massive and you can visit for a nice drink, food, watch sport on the TV and on a night time listen to some great bands and dance along too.

We love the additional bonus of using The Pass app which allows us to order from our table and build up points and then we can redeem them for meals and/or drinks. It is so worth it.

Mr Shelley ordered the Beef and Guinness pie. What a surprise. He always orders this. He knows before we get there that he is going to have this. I would be in shock if he ordered anything else.

Mr Shelley has always loved a good pie and if he doesn't like it, he is not going back ever. He absolutely loves the food here and we go a lot. He gets excited whilst he is awaiting his order and pipes up "ooooh here it comes" with a great big beaming smile. He tucks straight into it and what I see is a big pie full to the brim with meat and gravy. I ask him what he likes about it and he says it is the taste of the gravy and the fact that it is packed full of chunky tender pieces of beef. The price of this is $32 and it is served with colcannon mash and broccolini. Mr Shelley highly recommends a visit and trying this pie. He has had many a pie with not much meat in it and this pie is completely the opposite.
